It is an evaluation test of a newly designed product due to the weight reduction of the impeller.
Achievement record
We were able to design as it was originally planned. The technology used in this case has been adopted for many products later.
Problems and initiatives
As a matter of course, the impeller of the blower rotates and distribute winds. Therefore, when receiving the wind pressure at the specification point, at the same time it is driven upon receiving a great centrifugal force. In the evaluation test, it is a question of how close the external force applied to this actual driving situation. The photograph is a strength (destruction) test by a simple static load, but the important test is a dynamic load test (fatigue test). Point of load, size, stroke, repeating waveform and frequency must be calculated. In addition, we had to struggle with the design / production of the jig to put on the testing machine. Since it is a test over a long period of time, deviation of the load point due to the high vibration. We were able to complete the examination successfully with the guidance of the cooperating institutions.
Strengths
We have a lot of evaluation test results. Of course it is not just those that could be cleared by a single test. Redesign, change of test method / examination of optimization are repeated, which leads to the accumulation of evaluation test know-how.
