Jet fans for tunnel ventilation: Field survey
Work details
It is a preliminary survey measurement of the installation position and tunnel inside for replacing the ventilation jet fan installed in the highway tunnel, by taking double safety measures for (fail safe) operation.
Achievement record
We can accurately measure lighting fixtures, cable racks, piping etc installed in the jet fan main body and its surroundings by using three dimensional measuring instruments. In addition, the modeling using three-dimensional data and the making of the drawing became easy when considering the installation of jet fans.
Action for difficult problem
Since surveys on expressways are practical in traffic regulations, technology is required to make correct measurements within a limited time. As a result of having demanded a more effective and highly precise measurement because the investigation items increased as well as the requests from customers increased, we decided to adopt three dimensional measurement to handle the job most efficiently. Currently it is possible to minimize hand measurements in on-site survey and it is now possible to perform tunnel lining construction (rebar exploration) at the same time. Even when changes occurred after the investigation, it was possible to quickly respond to changes in specifications and designs by checking the dimensions and installation status from three-dimensional data.
Strength
We have been engaged in the maintenance of jet fans for many years and have accumulated great achievements in this field. Initially we received various consultations while mainly contributing to the examination, one of which was construction inside the tunnel. We are steadily accumulating construction results through collaboration with cooperating companies. We propose a solution that utilizes a wide range of networks that can deal with every project. In addition to the large-scale jet fan item for the ventilation in the tunnel, our expert staff accepts construction works for removal of jet fan, maintenance and its installation.
